			* Subject to country and agency services available At Cargo Traders our aim is to achieve fast, efficient, cost effective Customs Clearances to take out the "hassle" of moving goods across Australia's borders. This allows you, our customer, to have more time to deal with the challenge of running your own business. We offer a service which covers clearance for all Australian Ports both Air and sea, not forgetting those consignments which come through the post. Import Customs entries are prepared from shipping documents and lodged electronically via Customs"COMPILE system". Commodities are classified in the Customs Tariff and given an eight digit code. This code is then checked for any Tariff Concessions before being put onto the entry, along with Valuation, Origin and arrival information. Once Duty and GST liability is calculated, payment is made via electronic funds transfer (EFT). This may be from Importer or Custom Brokers bank account. The second part of the clearance, is obtaining the Delivery Order (Release) from the relevant Shipping Company, Freight Forwarder or Airline . This involves lodgment of Original Bill of Lading for Sea Freight, or Air Waybill for Air Freight and payment of any collect charges. At this stage clearance is complete and cargo is ready for local delivery. Import Barrier Clearance Services include: Consultancy covering customs tariff/goods classification, Customs Act, Tariff Concession System, Valuation, Goods & Services Tax, Dumping, Bonded Warehousing, Duty Drawback, Import Credit Scheme, shipping docs. Processing / Lodgment of Import Customs entries for Air Sea or Post Consignments. Payment of Customs Duty / GST/ Entry processing fee via EFT bank transfer. Shipment feasibility study and Landed goods costing's reports. Clearance of Personal Effects, household items, or unaccompanied baggage from your overseas trip. As your Customs Broker we are in the best position to synchronise the necessary processes to coincide with vessel or aircraft arrival, cargo availability, your warehouse requirements, time slot bookings and final cargo movement.
